You will see that the Saybrook Township Park Board has a 3 year .5 mill renewal levy on the ballot November of 2023. This is the operating levy that has been in effect for 20+ years. It allows the Park Board to repair and maintain the 3 Saybrook Parks: the Lake Park, Big Oak Park and Truesdell Memorial Park. This levy generates approximately $103,000 per year and the only change that has occurred over the years is it was done as a “replacement” instead of a “renewal” over 10 years ago. There was also no change in millage when the Park Board acquired two additional Parks. The Park Board appreciates the support of the Saybrook community and strives to maintain the Park system in a fiscally responsible manner.
