The Saybrook Township Park Board is issuing a reminder that reservations for the 2022 season begin on Saturday November 6th from 9 to 12. Reservations will be accepted in person at the lakefront concession stand or by phone at (440) 964-9177. After November 6th reservations may be made by leaving a message on the Park voicemail and your call will be returned. Please remember to leave a phone number for the return call. The Board also wants to update residents on the Shoreline Revetment project and issue an advisory for park visitors to use caution during the construction period. The project was bid out and awarded to the lowest bidder (Capp Steel of Ashtabula) at $548,825.00. The 5 year levy is projected to yield $560,000.00 over the 5 year period. The contractor has been given the NTP (notice to proceed) and the construction contract indicates completion by April of 2022. As we are all aware, Northeastern Ohio weather has a significant impact on the construction schedule. Since there will be construction vehicles and equipment entering and exiting the Park, the Board requests your cooperation to maintain safety at all times.
